These programs provide additional material and fresh perspectives to the lesson topics, but do not follow the specific format of each lesson.

Life's Beat is an ongoing health series aired on Hope Channel covering a wide range of topics in the format of a question and answer program. They cover both disease processes and wellness topics and recommendations from the perspective of health promotion, education, the determinants of health including poverty and social justice. New programs are added regularly.
Life’s Beat has won a "Telly" award for excellence in its field and is produced under the direction of the General Conference Health Ministries’ Director, Dr Allan Handysides, in collaboration with the Health Ministry team of the General Conference. Invited experts from a wide diversity of back grounds share their specialized and focused expertise on each topic. As you watch the various episodes you will meet all the General Conference Health Team members.
You are encouraged to view each episode online as to augment your Sabbath School Lesson study or download and utilize the programs in the Sabbath School class. However, these programs may not be broadcast on any other TV system or network without Hope Channel’s prior approval.
Over time, the Lifes Beat site will grow to include most of almost 200 programs of Life’s Beat series and may ultimately be incorporated into the larger websites Positive Choices.com and HealthMinistries.com.
